Well, let’s get it out of the way right up front, we did not leave for the Bahamas today (insert a lot of cussing, disappointment, and more money).

We woke up excited and ready to leave bright and early this morning, but the dang engine had other ideas. This engine will be the death of us. Apparently, the water pump blew, spraying water everywhere and breaking something else. After a whole morning of Dave messing with it and then a whole afternoon of a mechanic messing with it, we are up and running.

We both were prepared for a few small boat issues, I mean, it is a boat, but this is just a little more than we had planned. I tried to stay positive all day because Dave was definitely not in a positive mood.

All said and done, we got the boat fixed, again, the marina in the Bahamas was willing to move our reservation to tomorrow, and we still have a full week of vacation left. Based on all that, I think we have still been pretty lucky.

Once the boat was fixed, we took it out for a cruise through the intercoastal and looked at houses. They are all so amazing.

After our cruise, we ate dinner at our hotel. Nothing special tonight, just calamari, burgers, and beer.
