Today is our last day in Ft Lauderdale. We spent a large portion of today recovering from our night of debauchery with Primo. We truly relaxed today. We didn’t get up till 1030, and then we took a nap!

Dave was taking a nap; he was wiped out!

After we finally felt like we were back to normal, we decided to explore the A1A. I think I said “oh my” at least 100 times. Every conceivable type of humanity was on display. The beach was so incredibly crowded. I have been on a lot of beaches, and this was by far the busiest I have ever seen. I would never pick this beach over Destin. We both agreed that the sand and water are much better in Destin.

People everywhere!

After the required beach trip, we were on a food mission! A friend had recommended Casablanca, and it was just a short walk. Unfortunately, our stomachs won out before we made it. We came across a sushi place, Tsukoro, and decided we could wait no longer to eat. It ended up being a great choice. The food was delicious.

BOGO! How could you say no?!?!

Pad Thai

Sushi!

We ate until we were stuffed, so we sat back and people-watched for a while.

We ended the night watching fireworks from our marina. What a great way to end the first leg of our trip!

Tomorrow we leave for Bimini!
